Please don’t rely solely on the high ratings. I book for a full week but left early because I found the experience genuinely disappointing. First, the location is quite isolated. While the photos suggest a peaceful riverside setting, the reality is very different—there are numerous boats blocking the river, which makes it difficult to enjoy the view or the environment as advertised. The living conditions were also uncomfortable. There was a significant mosquito problem, the bunk-style sleeping arrangements felt awkward and poorly designed, and overall cleanliness was a SERIOUS issue. I would recommend investing in an actual cleaning professional instead of volunteers just looking for a free stay. I chose this place specifically for the coworking space, but it was not usable. Between constant noise and mosquitoes, I ended up leaving every day to work from an external coworking space instead. Lastly, I want to mention a serious issue regarding personal belongings. During my stay, my headphones went missing. I later saw a volunteer (the girl from curtiba) using them, and after I raised the issue with management, they were returned. The situation was unsettling and made me feel that I needed to be overly cautious with my belongings. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations, and I would not recommend it—especially for remote workers or anyone seeking a comfortable, secure environment.
