My rating is not a reflection on the staff as they have been 5* top notch. They were very professional and efficient. They were always very helpful. However I did not enjoy the room. The studio is just not big enough for 2 people even though it states that 2 people can stay. I was told the bed was queen size but it was no bigger then a double and we really struggled to get comfortable. The shower drain kept blocking from normal use, it kept flooding the shower tray. But thanks again to the staff who were always quick to fix any issues. The room collected way too much dust. The taps in the bathroom and kitchen had way too much pressure, you open it a little and splash everywhere. ALSO, the kitchen tap is very bad, it goes from cold, you move it a little and the water nearly burns your hands. The fridge is right under the cooker, when you are cooking the heat actually transfers to the top shelf of the fridge door so anything on their could possible get warm. The room is hot and I can't imagine how hot it would be during the summer. The worst of it is the traffic and road works right outside the building. If you book and uber, it's likely to be cancelled and there is way too much traffic because of the stupid way they have planned the temporary traffic lights you will be late for work. Of course not the fault of the collective but this drove me crazy! Parking - there is no parking, like at all you will really struggle to find any. I chose the wrong time to stay here (covid) as I was not able to use all the facilities but I would say it is good if you're very social and want to make lots of new friends. There will be lots of parties and events.
