I’ve been staying in the Collective for almost 12 months now so I feel well placed to provide a review. This is the fourth place I’ve rented in London since moving here some 4 years ago. My experience of renting rooms in London prior to the Collective comprised of dilapidated rooms beset with damp, bathrooms shared between 6 people, unsociable housemates and reminders to “top up the electricity card”. All these annoyances have been rectified by moving into the Collective where I have a contemporary and well-maintained place to live, an ensuite, a great friendship group and all my bills sorted in one payment. The great range of people, events and spaces to hang out at The Collective creates a dynamic environment where it is very difficult to get bored. I fully expect the co-living model to take-off In London over the next 10 years and The Collective to be the main driving force behind this change.
