I had a great stay at Ikigai Co-Living. From the moment I arrived, it felt like the perfect place to relax, work and meet amazing people. The community was full of kind, interesting people who were focused but also knew how to enjoy the island. Huge shoutout to Charlote and Emily— genuinely some of the sweetest humans ever. They made everything feel warm, welcoming, and just easy. And the host? Super helpful, always ready with great recommendations (seriously, he has a secret map of all the best food spots on the island). Location-wise, it’s a win. Close to the bus station, easy access to Puerto de la Cruz and La Orotava, and surrounded by big grocery stores — including plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans. There are also gyms and even CrossFit nearby. No car needed, all walking distance. The house itself is very peaceful. I stayed on the ground floor and honestly… I slept in the most comfortable bed of my life (I’m still thinking about it!). Coming from a busy city, this place was exactly what I needed — quiet, relaxing, and perfect for focused work. You can literally hear the birds during the day! And then the hammock, the bathtub, the overall vibe… Overall, I 100% recommend Ikigai. Great people, great energy, great sleep (did I mention the bed?) — what more do you need?

in my opinion this place is magical. ikigai was for me a place to calm down, watch the bananas grow from the terrace and watch beautiful sunsets from the in the evening, enjoy the jakuzi on a colder day. it is a quiet place which let me focus as well. I got to visit some special places: hiking in Anaga and in the Teide park, beach picknick in Teresitas, visited the rainbow Lagune…. but the most beautiful thing was that i got to meet amazing people who made this experience what it was, the ikigai family captured my heart. thank you!

Thanks to Charlotte, Amelie, Leyber and all other guests I had such an amazing time. From co-living bbq to hikes to movie nights it was wonderful. The views on the volcano and the sea were awesome. The jacuzzi that's available during the whole day also helped (: Leyber loves his food and it shows in the recommendations. I can not fault any single place we went to. Plenty of closet space and it really felt like home for the month I was there. If you need anything there's always someone that can help you out. Rather not join an activity? Also no problem. Busses go frequently and are nearby as are the supermarkets. Can definitely recommend and would give 6 stars if I could.

We had a great month at Ikigai in August, met lovely people and were productive at work, we couldn't have asked for more. The house is beautiful, spacious and the bed was one of the best we tried so far. Leyber, the owner, knows lots of hidden gems, especially in regards to restaurants 😋 Even though we didn't have a car, we were able to easily move around on foot, taxis (affordable) and buses (air-conditioned). Excellent weather year-round, gorgeous beaches and rockpools and starry skies, absolutely recommended!

Our time at Ikigay Coliving in Puerto de la Cruz was truly special. The house itself is very comfortable and perfect for remote work, with cozy bedrooms, great mattresses, and plenty of inviting communal spaces. We especially enjoyed the outdoor areas and the big projector setup for group movie nights, such a great vibe for both relaxation and connection. The balance between privacy and community was just right. My sister and I could enjoy quiet time when needed while also having meaningful moments of sharing and connection with other guests and volunteers living there. The views over the nearby banana plantation were beautiful and the calm neighborhood made it an ideal setting to recharge. We were even invited to a local party during our stay which was a fun and memorable experience. Grateful for the positive energy and thoughtful setup of this coliving space. Ich war einen Monat bei Ikigai Coliving – und es war einfach großartig. Das Haus ist wunderschön, liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet jede Menge Raum zum Wohlfühlen und Arbeiten. Besonders der Garten hat es mir angetan – viel Grün, gemütliche Ecken zum Entspannen und als Highlight: der Jacuzzi! Was den Aufenthalt aber wirklich besonders gemacht hat, waren die Menschen. Eine tolle Community, offene Gespräche, gemeinsames Kochen, Lachen und einfach eine wunderbar herzliche Atmosphäre. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und ein Stück weit zuhause. Wer auf der Suche nach einem Ort ist, der Ruhe, Inspiration und Gemeinschaft vereint, ist bei Ikigai und Leyber absolut richtig. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

Where, where, where to start! This place is simply wonderful! I called it home for about 7 weeks and how I miss the 10am sunshine sessions at the stairs, the walls around the neighbourhood, the jacuzzi sessions after work(i mean, who gets THAT😍), the pingpong games that immediately lift the workload of your shoulders. Hot showers, good internet, beautiful views and most importantly GREAT PEOPLE❤️. The owner Leyber even cleaned my shoes which deserves an extra star😂. The house was always clean and the volunteers went out of their way to help you with literally anything:). We went to beautiful places together, watched movies together, went to great restaurants together and everyone just sincerely cares. 1000% recommend:). See you in the future😍.

I spent a total of three weeks in the co-living. The entire property is relatively large and very well maintained. Leyber, the host, makes every effort to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and that there is a relaxed group atmosphere. I particularly appreciated that the need for privacy is respected, while at the same time there are plenty of opportunities to participate in social activities. In fact, co living is organized like a large family or shared flat. I was also very lucky with the other volunteers and guests. I can only recommend coliving to anyone and would have gladly extended my time there if there had been beds available. :)

I was lucky enough to have this wonderful room for seven full days and I really enjoyed like a queen. The room is so comfortable, it has a view of a large fig tree, so all day there is a play of shadows in the room. The desk is right next to the window and is simply the perfect atmosphere for work and relaxation. Sometimes I would just stay comfy on the bed reading and daydreaming. There is plenty of space in the room for all my clothes and cosmetics, and I also have a yoga mat on the floor because I love to meditate and stretch in the morning. The location itself is excellent, and everything is basically in walking distance. A very beautiful and quiet area, this house is a villa that also has such a neighborhood. Each room in the villa has its own color name and thus we have organized shelves and free space in the kitchen. Of all the kitchen appliances, my favorite is the juicer. This house has its own huge avocado tree and maracuya fruit that I did not hesitate to enjoy. You can really pick avocados from the kitchen window. So the real Tenerife! The view from the terrace is on the banana plantation and the sea. In addition to so pleasant conditions for staying, I would say that the general atmosphere in Ikigai Coliving is very charming, I met such a great people and when I had free time I engage with them to events that are proposed and organized by the host Leyber throughout the week. Definitely a heart on my Google map ♥️

I stayed 5 weeks at the Ikigai and was very happy that I chose this location for my stay in Tenerife. There are a lot of things I want to positively highlight: - The co-living is very well located - only 5 minutes by foot to the next bus station that takes you to the beach in 12 minutes. If you want to walk you'll need about 45 minutes. - The house itself has a nice charm and is pleasant to stay in. There is enough room to either be social in the shared rooms but also find peace in your room or outside. There is a ping-pong table and whirlpool depending on your liking. - Working in the office area was pleasant as well, there are even monitors that can be used on demand, which helped a lot. - I want to highlight the detail that Leyber has on cleanliness and hygiene - the kitchen and shared facilities are cleaned every day and on demand. - Coming to the point I appreciated the most, which is the effort Leyber is putting in to care for his guests when it comes to activities and planning but also health and general comfort. Even if you want to do something on your own he provides plenty of insights on what to do and how to get there. If possible he will connect routes and errands so everyone benefits. I had a great stay, thanks a lot Leyber!

Mi experiencia ha sido inmejorable. Un mes simplemente increíble. Las instalaciones son de primera calidad, desde las habitaciones (la cama es súper cómoda) hasta las áreas comunes pensadas al detalle para la comodidad de todos. Además en continua mejora. Pero lo de que verdad hizo especial mi estancia fue el excelente trabajo de Leyber como anfitrión organizando toda clase de actividades para el grupo. Por otro lado, la ubicación del coliving es buena, cerca de supermercados y grandes almacenes. Lo recomendaría a cualquiera que me preguntase, me alegro mucho de haber formado parte de ello.

Very nice little coliving at a good location, very well equipped for both working and living there. I spent just one week there (would recommend longer!) but met amazing people, worked hard and had a lot of fun. Very well kept kitchen with good! pans and knives, none of the worn-down stuff you sometimes see. Filtered water, aesthetically and technically pleasing lighting, the host cares about details and you can see that. And he's a cool guy as well. I had a room that had a desk and a good desk chair in it, I liked the mix of being able to work alone but also having nice people around. Will miss looking at banana plants just out the window.Very good activities/trips as well. Highly recommend!

I stayed at Ikigai for 6 weeks. The house is chill, clean and cool during both the day and night. The working space is comfortable and practical. The house has good public transport links and local taxis are cheap. I found car rentals to be reasonably priced on the island and I would recommend this for anybody that wants to explore independently. Leyber is a great host, he is quick to react if anything was less than perfect. He has great recommendations for local food, drinks and entertainment. In all 6 weeks I was there, he did not make a single bad suggestion. There are so many different things to do and places/things to experience in the North of Tenerife, if you are bored, it is likely out of your choice. I would recommend Tenerife and Ikigai to anybody who would like a nice, clean and relaxed working environment but also would like to make the most of their free time and enjoy all that the North of the island has to offer.

Great coliving + coworking place in Tenerife! Cozy and clean with good WiFi. The balcony, jacuzzi and backyard (plus the mango tree) were my fave places at Ikigai. Fully equipped kitchen is awesome too. Location is great (close to Puerto, amazing beaches and grocery stores). But it’s the most convenient if you have a car. Leyber is a really nice, knowledgeable host. The people we met in our stay were amazing.

I stayed for 2 weeks at Ikigai, and honestly I don't ever want to go to another co-living — this here is the very definition of what a co-living space should be. The surroundings are beautiful, you can see both Teide and the ocean from the balcony. And the banana plantation that's right next makes for a wonderful view. The whole place is very clean and tidy, and rooms are spacious and quiet. Even when full, it's just the right amount of people, so it never feels like a hostel or anything. Leyber (the host) is a great guy - always has the best recommendations on what to do, and comes up with interesting ideas for group activities, etc. so you'll never be bored. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay and work from.

I stayed for 3 weeks in Ikigai coliving and it was a great experience. The house is big but not too much to have at most 7 or 8 people. - The main room with the working stations is super quiet and the best place to work with view on the ocean and bananas trees. - The double bedrooms are also very spacious with a desk if you want to do some calls and more privacy. - The garden with the jacuzzi is the perfect place to chill out after a day of work! - The house is well located, 5mn of walk from the supermarket, 35mn walking from the center of Puerto de le Cruz and not far from any bus stop. Actually the public transport in Tenerife is pretty good if you don’t rent a car. Leyber is a wonderful host, super reactive if something fails and making sure you have everything you need. He’s also a perfect activity planner, always suggesting something fun to do on the evenings and weekends. If you are searching for a small coliving with a good ambiance between guests and a nice setting to work, don’t hesitate to try Ikigai.

I loved my 3 week stay at Ikigai especially because I had no particular plan the day I arrived and I ended up having my days fully booked with amazing experiences. It seems like the place attracts the most amazing people and the owner, Leyber was fantastic at proposing and helping out in planning, driving around to go salsa dancing, go to concerts, spontaneous lunch and wine tasting plans, and a lot more. The house itself feels like home, it's clean, with a big working room and lovely terrace where I would occasionally work from while enjoying the sun and beautiful plants around. The avocados from the house tree are a must try!

Great place to stay for co-living. During the day there is quiet time for work. In the free time there is always something happening. The atmosphere was very friendly and I met great people. Our host Leyber was very forthcoming, showing us around and helping or organising things (like wine tasting, dinner or meeting with other co-livings). The place itself is great with tropical fruits to pick directly from the trees (avocado every morning) and a jacuzzi to relax in the evening.

My experience at Ikigai has absolutely made my trip to Tenerife! The house itself is beautiful, the space is well-designed and relaxing, and the rooms are comfortable (and there’s a hot tub!). However, what really stands out is the people in the house and the owner, Leyber. With a small number of guests, the group really operates like a family. Leyber is very relaxed and positive and helped me organize any activity ideas that I had in to action. Everyone is spontaneous, open to trying new things and collaborating. I would definitely recommend this co-living- particularity for a solo traveler!

The house is big with a wonderful garden and a nice view to Teide. I'm looking back at an awesome month! This coliving is smaller than other ones I've stayed, and I found this one allows for a perfect balance between enjoying the group spirit and 'live and let live'. It was easy to focus on my work, for instance. The owner Leyber always brings in a good vibe, countless initiatives on things to do and actively shaping an even better coliving experience. The area is quiet, not far from the 'buzz' of Puerto de la Cruz, and the views are simply the best! Transportation to natural parks, cliffs, small beaches and other beautiful areas is easy from here.

This coliving stands out a lot compared to the others on the island. Everything works great, especially wifi, and the jacuzzi is heaven after a long day of working. The host Leyber is very relaxed and positive person, and will keep you informed of all the cool local restaurants and activities, and often joins. With just 10 people I think it is great for getting to know the people better, it does not have this hostel or boy-scout camp feel that some of the other colivings have. Will be back as soon as i can!

Had an amazing 2 weeks at Ikigai! It provided all the facilities you need; Awesome jacuzzi (!!), bus stop next to the accomodation, huge supermarket right next to it, in between 2 beautifull cities (Puerto de la Cruz and La Orotava) which you could easiliy walk to or go with the bus, and good working facilities. I have a lot of conference calls so I liked that you had the choice to work in the "office place", desk at your room, garden or balcony. The atmosphere was amazing with Leyber making sure that there were some group activities on the agenda for people that want to join, and the amount of +- 8 people also makes sure you get to know everybody very well and you get along as a big group.

Had an awesome 3 week stay at Ikigai. The coliving has everything you need to be comfortable working and playing. Leyber looks after his guests and responds quickly to any request to make sure his guests are comfortable. He also suggests frequent events to keep you entertained - during my stay went to ecstatic dances, out to eat at a guachinche, hiking and various parties :). The views from the house are amazing and loved the avocados from the garden. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend if you want a relaxing workation!

The place is situated next to a banana field, which is nice to have a few over the plantage while sitting on the balcony. The house is very spacious and has a nice big kitchen with everything you need to prepare a good dish. The spacious coworking space has modern tables and chairs to work. It can be a motivation for digital workers to not sit alone in a room but share this common space and working in the same space. Also the living/coworking room has a nice sofa to chill and rest in between. The balcony has a nice table to have also food outside. Downstairs you have the jacuzzi for some relaxing neck massage and space enough to do some yoga for example also a big table with a BBQ for some nice shared dinners. We where staying in the big couples room and it was a nice room with a view from the window to the fig trees just in front. Also the host drove us to some surfing at the beach, hicking in the mountain and eating at a mexican restaurant. And last but not least we got some nice Venezuelan home made arepas that where amazing!

And no it's not just about the jacuzzi, it's about the house with a fully equipped kitchen, the working area with comfortable chairs and fast wifi, the bedrooms with start-of-the-art mattresses, the green garden and last not least a marvellous view from the balcony: Teide at the top, banana trees in the middle, the ocean at the bottom and yes, there's a jacuzzi... and yes you can be in it while looking at the stars and drinking champagne ;) - we highly recommend it!
