For the people who still follow our sparsely publicised posts, I wanted to announce that we are open over Christmas and New Year’s this year. It was a great place to stay. I only stayed 1 night but the house was really like a home in a luxury style. Really welcoming and warm, you will have a unique view on the beach. It has everything you need. The kitchen is more than comfortable and the place feel like freedom and holidays at same time. I was doing a trip from Faro to Porto in 10 days. I didn't the chance to stay and get more friendly with the people but for sure I recommand this place. I had the car so maybe it facilitate the access to city center of course.

I have stayed at VDI 3 times now and already thinking about my next stay. It's a heavenly place, such a relaxed vibe and with ✨the best views ever✨ the daily golden light and sunset are magical. There are not many rooms, so it quickly get to know the other guests who quickly become like a little family. The rooms are all lovely and so peaceful. 🌅 The house is located just outside Ericeira, so you are immersed in a more quiet life where you can just be; nice walks along the cliffs, a beach 5 minutes down from the house and there is also access to little local supermarkets and cafes in the little village close by. Moa and Jonatan are the best hosts and so chill, it really feels like you're on a retreat. See you again shortly, obrigada 🫶🏼

Fantastic "home". Only 4 beds in the dorm room. Beautiful place, setting and view. Short walk down to the beach or up into the village. Full kitchen facilities. Easy to change your plans and stay longer! Garden area and able to keep your bicycle locked and safe.

Beautiful homy house/hostel. Clean, good equipped, cosy, hammocks and a lot of outdoor space. 10min walk to the beach and the best pizzas around the corner. Very good price/quality.

After 11 days spent in the villa, i have been sad to leave my new friends to come back home. I had the ocean room, it was incredible. Everything was perfect, we lived together very easily, and i could work even better than at home. Thank you Jonathan, Moa, Sergi, Raquel, Jake, Roxanne, Louis, and so many others. I have been surfing every day, renting a car is definitely a very good option. Avoid Surprise car rental, i had a bad experience with them. A bit of tension of the spots with the locals, take care respecting the priorities on the water.
