✨ Last Saturday at the Coliving, we hosted the first workshop by Forest Impact Lab — a new project taking shape at Tertulia. The day was focused on AI Case Studies. 🌳💡 The Forest Impact Lab is designed for organizations — companies, NGOs, and startups — that need support with strategy, innovation, AI, leadership, etc. 🏡 We design tailor-made residential workshops at the coliving to help teams regain clarity and generate solutions, guided by experts and inspired in the surrounding environment of the Tuscan forest. 🌿 It was a great opportunity to create meaningful connections between the colivers and local professionals visiting the Coliving for the first time. And the sunset aperitivo was the perfect ending to a truly inspiring day! 🥂 If you want to know more contact us or type forestimpactlab.com

Step into Spring 🌿✨ From the last week of February to mid-April, our residency has been a truly inspiring journey—for us and for every coliver who joined. Together, we found a beautiful balance between shared living, responsibility, care, and active participation in Tertulia’s daily life. With no volunteer or community manager, something special happened: people naturally stepped in, co-created, and experienced what a regenerative lifestyle can really feel like. Value emerged everywhere—socially, personally, and for the whole ecosystem 🌱 People that never met before become a community with such ease and embodied the spirit of Tertulia. Maybe is the forest magic, but it happened once again 🌳💫

🎤 SPEAKER ANNOUNCEMENT Meet Francesco Boldrini Co-Founder of @tertuliafarm Forest Coliving · Rural Regeneration Advocate · Community Builder Regenerating a place is possible. Regenerating an entire social, economic, and human ecosystem at once? Much less so. Francesco is one of the minds behind Tertulia Forest Coliving, a living experiment in rural regeneration that brings together community, nature, and social innovation. During his talk, we’ll explore: * What it truly means to build a regenerative enterprise * How to transform an abandoned farm into a thriving forest coliving * The role of permaculture and plants in rethinking productivity and wellbeing * Why the forest can become a space for social innovation * How temporary residents and local communities can co-create lasting value Tertulia is not just a place to live and work. There’s something powerful that happens when we slow down enough to listen to ourselves, to each other and to the land around us. This writing retreat grew from that belief 💛 Led by award-winning writer and environmental anthropologist @ginas_deli and brought to live in collaboration with @abbshouston. We gather for a week in the wild part of Tuscany dedicated to stories, food and shared presence. We’ll write together, eat together, and spend time exploring memoir and personal storytelling through the language of food, memory and the senses. There’s space here. For holistic morning practices. For quiet generative work. For conversation around the table. For being held by a small group and a slower rhythm. Writers of all levels are welcome. Curiosity, openness and a love for Italian food and culture matter far more than experience. If you’re feeling called to create more slowly, more honestly, and more in connection with place and community, consider gifting yourself with this unique experience 💝 👉 See link in bio for more infos & booking #writercommunity #writersretreat #creativeretreat #italianfoodexperience #tuscany

🔗 PARTNER ANNOUNCEMENT We’re happy to announce @tertuliafarm as a partner of Italia Nomad Fest 🌱 Tertulia is born from the land and the people who care for it. It’s an agricultural and cultural project that weaves together soil regeneration, community, hospitality, and new ways of living and working together. A place where time slows down, relationships grow deeper, and food tells a story again. It’s not just a farm. It’s a meeting point for those who consciously choose how to produce, inhabit, and share. Between tradition and experimentation. Between manual work and long-term vision. That’s why it feels so aligned with our journey: the same care for the land, the same respect for authentic relationships, the same idea of a future built together, one step at a time. 🌍 Italia Nomad Fest is born right here: where community, place, and new forms of life come together. 📍 Palermo 🗓 8–15 March 2026 🎟️ Tickets available now What you waiting for? 🤌🏼 #INF #ItaliaNomadFest #INFPalermo #NomadFestPalermo #NomadFestltalia DigitalNomadFest PalermoColiving PalermoDigitalNomads DigitalNomadFestival DigitalNomads NomadLife ColivingItalia ColivingPalermo

What a gift this place is—one that Francesco and his family have created and continue to care for so many people. The place itself, together with the surrounding nature, is beautiful and offers endless opportunities for exploration and creativity. I absolutely loved sharing this special place—and my time there—with such wonderful people.

This place is absolutely magic, I feel so grateful to have had the chance to go there. Francesco, Anja and all the amazing people that were there made me feel home since the moment I arrived. We bonded really easily and shared beautiful moments together, from cozy dinners to hikes. The animals are special, the landscape wide and peaceful, and I already can't wait to go back!

Amazing place! Shared dinners with the same people every day made me feel like at home. The place is well managed by Francesco and has lovely surroundings (the view from the hill!). It's relatively remote, so it's really calm, but some activity was happening every day :). I highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed staying here and would love to come back. Everyone is so nice and the farm and the nature is beautiful. You really are welcomed into the family of Tertulia. Great place to connect and meet likeminded people and also to work remotely.

Me and some friends thought about coming here next summer, as remote workers that love and have been to some coliving around Italy and Spain. Seeing all the recent reviews and hearing stories from people that were there (and unfortunately didn't write here), and reading the weird replies of the owner which seems to be always the "victim", this is a place we know we won't reach.

Tertulia has a lot of potential. It’s a shame most of it is unmet. From all the colivings I have been to over the years, this is by far the worst one and I feel nomads deserve an accurate portrayal of what its like prior to arriving- 1. The kitchen is constantly dirty, unmaintained and while I was there it was also infested with rats, one of which died and it took the owner 4 full days to attend to the problem in a serious way. Meanwhile, the stench covered the entire first floor of the house including the kitchen, the coworking spaces, and the bathroom intended for the colivers while working. Needless to say, during my first week at Tertulia I spent most of my time outside. 2. There is no host or community manager and the place is clearly not a priority. This means the colivers initiate their own activities, cook their own the meals etc. As most of us dont have cars, all the activities took place within walking distance or onsite. There is no connection to local culture, no recommendations of places to go or things to do. During my time Tertulia I learned of 2 local festivals in the nearby town after the fact, which the owner didn’t bother to tell us about or suggest taking us to. There is clearly no interest in any sort of cultural exchange. 3. Despite the fact that it’s a rural location, most nomads travel without a car, and there is no supermarket within walking distance- the owner didn’t feel compelled to provide a way for us to shop and charged money for gas every time we used the car for basic necessities such as food. In general the overall feeling is that the owner views Tertulia as a money making machine in which he collects money but doesn’t really feel compelled to give back any sort of basic services and amenities. Unlike other rural colivings I’ve stayed at in which the hosts took a genuine interest in the colivers, provided special treats from their garden or things they baked, took us to the store to get anything we needed, or offered to get it for us and we paid them back. 4. For joint dinners all the colivers share in the costs. Although the owners have a family of 5 including himself, his wife and 3 grown teenagers with a healthy appetite who come to every single dinner- he only shares in the expenses covering himself and his wife. This basically means the colivers feed the owners kids on average 3 times a week on their dime. Yes, the setting and the sunsets are beautiful. And the locals I met and befriended on my own accord were fabulous people. But personally, when I choose a coliving over a hotel or Airbnb its for the community aspect. The only community at Tertulia was the one happening organically between a group of people living together. That can hardly be accredited to the owner who was almost never around.
