Review of LOKAL Tbilisi

LOKAL is an amazing place to live, work, and socialize. I was drawn to this delightful location hoping for community promised by the idea of CoLiving. I intended to stay at LOKAL for one week and ended up lingering for almost six months. The room was far more comfortable than I expected and Candy was continually dedicated to bringing the CoLiving guests together in a small community. From game nights to family dinners to nights in the garden chatting around a fire, I always felt I was provided service and luxury far beyond my expectations. The CoWorking side of the business is just as well thought out. Reliable high speed internet, comfortable seating, and quiet rooms make it easy to be productive. In warm weather, tables in the garden provides a beautiful dose of nature to balance out the practical necessities of work. Evenings and weekends, LOKAL is often highly social as the space is used to hold community events (pandemic restrictions permitting). Game nights, trivia nights, language exchanges, beer festivals, wine classes, fundraisers and more bring locals, expats, travelers, and digital nomads together in a friendly community. If all this were not enough, there are also two on-site restaurants, both of which are amazing: Living Vino, a vegan restaurant (try their Lentil Soup!) and Bagelin, making fresh bagels daily (try the Ancient Svan bagel topped with rosemary/garlic cream cheese or treat yourself to home made peanut butter). This is a brand new business, barely a year old, created in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic. LOKAL is a true gem of Tbilisi!
